Gaudeamus Muziekweek proudly presents new work by the latest generation of musical pioneers and organises a variety of activities. Apart from the festival, which is highly regarded nationally and internationally, there is the Gaudeamus Muziekweek Academy as well as concert sessions and events in collaboration with various partners. Gaudeamus Muziekweek seeks out musical trailblazers around the world to offer them a space and a stage to further their development. The festival continues to break new ground as it brings tomorrow’s music to the audiences of today.

The leitmotiv of the festival is the internationally renowned Gaudeamus Award, an incentive prize for composers under 30. This award has kickstarted the careers of renowned composers such as Michel van der Aa and Yannis Kyriakides. From € 500 per year, as an Ambassador of Gaudeamus Muziekweek you will directly support the five composers who are nominated for the Gaudeamus Award. As well as to the special perks reserved for Friends, the Ambassadors of Gaudeamus Muziekweek are entitled to the following.
•A private meet & greet with the nominees at Gaudeamus Muziekweek
•An invitation for the closing concert, including the award ceremony
•Your name in the programme and on the website (optional)
