6 - 10 September 2017 From classical crossover and minimal soundscapes to modern composition with (live) electronics. Gaudeamus Muziekweek presents the newest music by young music pioneers during the eponymous and highly renowned music festival in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
From Thursday 8 September through Sunday 11 September our Festival Hub in TivoliVredenburg is the place to be. Here, you will meet everyone else before and after the concerts. The festival box office and the information desk are open daily from 12 PM until the start of the last evening concert (at the latest). The bar is open, merchandise is sold and there are various free activities.
Our festival hub in Tivolivredenburg will hold four avant-garde sound installations including Rocking Chairs by Rob van Rijswijk and Jeroen Strijbos with designer, Christian Graessli; Sunsets by Luke Deane; Different Gears by Stef Veldhuis; and In the distance go on forever/Story of contemporary frankenstein by Anna Mikhailova.
These installations will be available from 12h at Thursday 8 September through Sunday 11 September, and a free guided tour will be given daily.
